Managing Director

With over 30 years’ experience in the Facilities Management sector, Mark has extensive hands on industry knowledge. Starting as a cleaner in the late 1990’s, Mark has worked his way through the ranks to be the owner and Managing Director of SPS Facilities. Having performed operational, administrative and sales roles during his career, Mark has a comprehensive understanding about the challenges faced by business owners within our industry. Embracing the benefits of education, Mark has completed a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science and the capstone Directors course with the Australian Institute of Company Director. Mark focuses his attention on establishing excellence in strategy and governance at the all levels, thereby ensuring our vision for a positive future for all stakeholders is realised.

Peta Nipper

Human Resources Manager

Peta is SPS’s Human Resources Manager. Peta holds a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) and graduated with Distinction in 2017. She is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified), has acquired her Professional Diploma in Human Resources and is an active member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. Peta oversees staff recruitment, training, performance appraisal, industrial relations, and staff health and welfare. Her professional and caring approach has proven invaluable in maintaining stable industrial relations, ensuring our clients continue to receive a service that is consistent and uninterrupted.

Mohideen Thassim

Financial Controller

With over 25 years financial and management accounting experience in various industries such as manufacturing, retail, wholesale, service sector and labour hire, Mohideen has worked and reported financials based on French GAAP, USGAAP, PNG Standards, and Australian Accounting Standards. With his intricate knowledge of accounting procedure and practice, along with his experience with multiple software platforms, he has streamlined our company’s accounting and invoicing processes. Overseeing a dedicated accounts team, Mohideen ensures that our clients receive efficient and accurate invoicing whilst likewise ensuring that SPS maintains the fiscal stability for which it is renowned.

Karen Brazel

System Design Manager

Karen has over 7 years’ experience managing high performing Project Teams within Australia and New Zealand. Although her formal qualifications are in the area of accountancy, her expertise exist within System Design and Development, Implementation, Rollout and Training of new IT platforms to organisations. Her professional attitude enables her to successfully manage and nurture her teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the projects in order to achieve company goals and objectives. Karen has a keen eye and attention to detail when scoping a project and she takes a thorough approach to system design for organisational improvement. Karen’s previous experiences within Industrial Relations, Payroll, Finance and IT have provided a sound knowledge platform for her to design a holistic, bespoke IT solution that provides SPS Facilities and our clients with a competitive advantage.

Zac Hook

Chief Operating Officer

Zac has extensive Strategic Operational Management experience and is highly skilled in Leadership, Operational Capability and Resource Management. Having held Executive Management positions for the past 10 years across various labour intensive, service organisations, Zacs operational and compliance knowledge is extensive. His management experience extends to client portfolios in excess of $40 million revenue per annum. His expertise across the operational sphere allows him to confidently implement major change to ensure sustained organisational growth. Zacs commitment to the Mission of SPS Facilities is unquestionable and his contribution to our operations is valuable.
